No player ever been as synonymous to any Grand Slam tennis tournament the way one Rafael Nadal has ruled the French Open. Unfortunately for the king of clay - who has won the tournament a record 14-times - he will not be in the running to add to that tally in 2023, having been ruled out with a hip flexor injury that’s sidelined him since January.
