Inside Hong Kong: 6000 police officers out in full force on China's National Day
Scores of riot police patrolled Hong Kong today, after calls were made online for anti-government protests as the city marked the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Some 6,000 officers were drafted in, and there were more police than protesters on the streets by the afternoon of National Day. Claire Huang is the Hong Kong correspondent for The Straits Times and she joins Rachel Kelly this week with an update and analysis of the latest from the territory.
